Powder River Tailings Interpretive Site

The Powder River Interpretive Site is located along the Elkhorn Drive Scenic Byway near Phillips Lake. The small roadside interpretive site display tells about past gold dredging activity and the tailings' unique ecosystem in the Sumpter Valley.
