Joseph Branch Railriders

If you enjoy outdoor exploration, wildlife, biking and railroads, you will love Railriding. Using unique, four-wheeled recumbent quadracycles custom made to ride the rails, riders pedal portions of the historic, 19th-century Joseph Branch rail line. The route passes through the scenic Wallowa Valley with expansive views of the mountains, meadows, and working family farms as well as traveling through the entirety of the Wallowa River Canyon. It's exciting not knowing what you might discover around the next bend and it's a rare day that riders don't encounter wildlife.

Options include a 1 hour, 2 hour, and two 4 hour daytime adventures as well as some awesome nighttime tours. The one and two hour trips, and nighttime tours offer full electric pedal assist allowing folks with nearly all physical abilities to enjoy the adventure. These trips depart from the town of Joseph. The four hour River Escape and Canyon twist trips pedal from Minam, OR and explore the Wallowa River Canyon enveloped by towering rock cliffs and sprawling scenery.

Open seasonally beginning May 1st and closing for winter in October.
