Wildhorse Lake

Wildhorse Lake

A steep, slippery path to a beautiful lake in a hanging valley

From Wildhorse parking area, head down a closed road to an overlook at 1/4 mile ( some people may want to stop here instead of attempting the steep path to the lake). To the left of the overlook,a small path drops down to the lake. This trail is not maintained and should be hiked with extreme caution due to high cliffs and steep, eroded sections. Please stay on the existing path. This area is very fragile, and overnight campers are encouraged to use gas stoves instead of campfires.

Best time to hike: July- September
Length: 2 miles round trip
