Pendleton Air Museum

Pendleton Air Museum

The Pendleton Air Museum offers individual, group and private tours. The museum's exhibits are changed approximately every 3 to 4 months each year. You'll learn how important Pendleton Field Army Air Corps Base was to the United States' involvement in World War II (WWII). Learn about the background of the pilots and crew we know as the "Doolittle Raiders" and how important the African American soldiers known as the 555th Paratrooper Infantry Battalion were with the secret mission "Operation Firefly."

Meet the museum's WWII and Korean War volunteers and read their "My Story" personal history. Pendleton Air Museum offers all this and so much more as they strive to commemorate the history of both military and civilian commercial aviation in NE Oregon and SW Washington and to memorialize the sacrifices of local soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, through exhibits, events and activities.

Pendleton Air Museum aims to preserve this heritage and educate visitors, residents and future generations regarding this history and service.
