Hells Canyon Dam

The Hells Canyon Dam is located on Mile 247.0 of Snake River on the Idaho-Oregon border. It opened in 1967 as the third and final hydroelectric dam of the Hells Canyon Project.

The Hells Canyon Dam is a major site off the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway.
