One of just a few interpretive sites commemorating the Chinese heritage in North East Oregon. Located on the outskirts of Baker City, two reader boards explain some of the history of the cemetery and of the Chinese in Baker County. Approximately 46 people were originally buried in the cemetery, one marked grave remains.
Visitors can also find an small but well curated exhibit on local chines heritage at the Baker Heritage Museum and a small number of artifacts are on display at the Sumpter Municipal Museum.
Those wanting to explore more chinese heritage in the region should visit the Ah Hee Diggings along the Elkhorn Scenic Byway and plan a stop at the Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Area
