Arrowhead River Adventures

Arrowhead River Adventures offers a variety of multi-day rafting adventures on the John Day River. With the rafting season on the John Day being predominantly May and June, we have packed our calendar with fun trips for all sorts of river seekers.

The John Day River is located in Central Oregon and is one of the longest free-flowing rivers in the contiguous United States. The river is named for John Day, a hunter and fur trader who encountered the river in 1812 as part of the Astoria Overland Expedition.

The river flows 284 miles from its headwaters in the Strawberry Mountains to the Columbia River.
