Halloween Make & Take Event

This year Crossroads Carnegie Art Center is once again hosting a Halloween Craft Day. Set for Saturday, October 24.

This event will be full of fun and entertainment for children and adults alike, with caramel/candied apple slices and cider as well. It will be held at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The lower level of the art center will be dedicated to crafts; with an area for painting pumpkins, making tie dye, fiber wrapping rocks, and more! At our Halloween craft day, you will also be able to build a Halloween gingerbread house, decorate and eat cookies, take photos, and get a sweet treat! Volunteers will be running the craft stations to ensure you always have help should you need it, and there will be signs that clearly indicate a craft’s estimated completion time and challenge level on each table to help you decide what crafts to participate in based on preference.

Children and adults alike are encouraged to wear your costumes but to be mindful that paints, hot glue, and other materials will be present at this event. There will be a photo booth to get pictures of costumes and props for folk who do not elect to wear their costumes or who just want to get a little silly with it.

They will also offer small games periodically throughout the event. This year’s event is made possible by the Edna Harrell Fund of Oregon Community Foundation. Parking is available on the street and in the City of Baker City Parking lot.
