Art Center East (ACE) announces the opening of “Celestial Resonance”, an immersive exhibit by local artist and sound therapist Darcy Dolge. The exhibit will be on display February 7 through March 29. There will be a closing reception, free and open to the public, on Friday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m.
“Celestial Resonance” combines art, sound, and intention to create a multi-sensory experience that invites viewers to explore art as a space for meditation, healing, and connection. Dolge weaves together hand-drawn linework, watercolors, digital collages, gilding, and beading with specific sound frequencies and crystal elements, creating works that resonate energetically and visually. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the exhibit by wearing the headphones provided so they can experience the art through curated sound frequencies. The headphones transform the exhibit into an auditory and visual journey.
A recorded artist talk by Dolge will be available following the opening reception. A weekly sound journey and a virtual tour of “Celestial Resonance” will also be available on ACE’s website for people who are unable to visit the exhibit in person.
Exhibits are viewable online thanks to a partnership with High Country Realty Professionals in La Grande. All gallery visits, receptions, and events are free and open to the public.
